Since Denise’s Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2018, she and Bernard have been working tirelessly to bring Parkinson’s Awareness to under-engaged communities. The couple has traveled to conferences around the country and around the globe to advocate for research and improve Parkinson’s health outcomes in the Black community.
